Tropical Interiors offer two options for indoor Plant Management and having a large variety of plants to choose from. We offer clients
Plant Rental or Plant Purchase.
Our expert staff will collaborate with your office team to select plants that will enhance your office space design and thrive with little effort. Once plants are ordered, they are handpicked directly from proven growers to ensure your plants are grown in healthy environments. We then install and provide full maintenance. Once plants are acclimated, our watering and maintenance schedule will ensure your plants will live for decades to come. All work and maintenance is guaranteed. If a plant has grown ill during our maintenance program, the plant will either be treated appropriately to continue to thrive, or the plant can be replaced with the same or equivalent plant free of charge.
Holiday Decor Installation:
Tropical Interiors rents holiday decorations, wreaths and trees to your office for the Winter Holiday season. Since 1988, Tropical Interiors Founder, Gary Kavanagh has been working closely with clients to design winter holiday installations that are appropriate for their specific office needs. Each decor is meticulously hand assembled with care, installed for the season, and removed promptly according to your specific office needs. Wintery Holiday trees range from 3 feet to 10 feet. Wreaths are sized to fit each location accordingly. Contact us as soon as possible to schedule a consultation and installation for this upcoming Holiday Season.

Expertise since 1979
Founder Gary Kavanagh Graduated with a Degree in Horticulture, Bachelor of science in 1976 from Michigan State University. He quickly became the general manager of one of the largest interior landscaping companies in the Detroit area. With that experience, Gary started his own interior plant design and plant maintenance company in 1979 with the goal to keep plants alive and looking better every year. While some companies are quick to rotate through new plants to replace ill cared for plants, Tropical Interior’s goal is to use a direct planting method that ensures plants could be well cared for, while given the opportunity to grow and thrive for decades. As a new business owner, Gary traveled to multiple states across the USA to better understand plants’ natural environments and learned from the best growers. Now Gary continues to hand pick plants from the best nurseries across the nation. Gary has begun mentoring his business partner Zach Barnes over the past two years and has trusted him to learn these same methods and techniques that have allowed Tropical Interiors to thrive since 1979. Gary Kavanagh has taken great care in personal relationships with his clients and is thankful to have had some of his clients for over 40 years.
